Hearing Loss Association of America (formerly known as SHHH – Self-Help for Hard of Hearing People) has a mission to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss by providing information, education, support and advocacy. Their website provides information regarding advocacy, online resources, their conventions, publications, chapters and state associations and access to a listserv for parents of hard of hearing children.
Listen Foundation: The LISTEN Foundation, located in Englewood, Colorado, has supported families who would otherwise not have access to the equipment and therapy that their children need in order to become listening, speaking adults who can then reach their full potential as productive members of society.
