J. Eric Lupo, M.D., M.S.
Medical Director Otology/Neurotology
Dr. Lupo is co-owner of the practice and received his undergraduate degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was awarded the Colorado Engineering Council’s certificate of merit. After receiving his master’s degree from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, he went on to attend the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, where he earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (ENT). Dr. Lupo then completed fellowship training in Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at the prestigious House Clinic in Los Angeles. After completing such a respected fellowship, Dr. Lupo was excited to join the team at Rocky Mountain Ear Center. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the American Neurotology Society, the American Medical Association, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and a number of state and local area medical societies. In addition, he serves on the medical advisory council for the Colorado Neurological Institute. Dr. Lupo was also awarded the 5280 Top Doc Award in May 2018.
Dr. Lupo is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. His professional interests include comprehensive acoustic neuroma management, advancing the science of cochlear implantation, innovative rehabilitation of chronic ear disease and refining techniques in primary and revision stapedectomy. Additionally, he participates in global humanitarian missions, having recently traveled as far as Phnom Penh, Cambodia to perform and teach ear surgery with Global ENT Outreach. He and his wife Ginny, an audiologist, are the proud parents of three boys — as a family, they enjoy all the activities Colorado has to offer.
